Wallpaper.

Yikes.  I just google searched how to hang Wallpaper, and pretty much sealed the fact that there is no way I can do that myself.

It seems EXTREMELY intense, and probably not much extra to have someone hang it for ya.   Seriously…

I love this description from featurewallpaper.com.  “All you need are a few basic tools to help you do your job quickly and easily. You will need a bucket of water, a pasting table, brush and paste, a sponge, a pencil, a spirit level, a tape measure, a sharp knife and a pair of decorating scissors…and of course, your lining paper and wall covering! Ready? Then let’s get going…”

Really, THAT’S ALL?? That is not just a few things!  And I should not be trusted with paste and knives when it comes to decor.  I love the idea of the Grey Greek Key, but that may be to trendy trenderson.

Anyways- Something is getting wallpapered… so I am on the hunt.  JA does it now, so– um— obvs.

Sun and Moon reminds Amy of little solar rays, or a full moon. An almost Deco style, it adds a small, subtle note to the bigger collection, but stands on its own! This paper is perfect to combine with others in a room.

    Industrial Chic. + a Dog!

So the soho loft industrial thing is not really us — HOWEVER– I think it could be a really cool thing to introduce to our “hopefully soon to be new big kids house”.  Since the apartment is historical and old….moldings etc.  I think it could be a neat way to celebrate all things handmade and cool, and in this case LOCAL!

The Brooklyn Flea, aka my favorite place ev, has a great new vendor that I love.  Fat Dog Fabrication.

A few examples of how typeset art can really make all the difference, in art, branding, writing, pitching… you name it. Sometimes it’s why I buy a book, or a t-shirt, or my favorite, a letterpress card.  It’s a very important part of identity, or at least to me.  But that’s probably why I have a sweet address stamp even though we are moving again.    Pick a new, fresh font on your e-mail for summer.  you’ll be glad you did!
