Color of the day: Yellow accents with Grey
Can that be a color of the day? It can when it’s your own blog! I decided with everything that we picked our for the kitchen, that I am going to accent it with a bit of Yellow. It’s retro, it’s fun, it’s bananas, it’s lemons…. It’s a party for everyone! Now if they would just break ground on the kitchen we’d be in business…

Needless to say, It’s not easy. I did find some $7 turquoise Gargoyles thus far, and we have everything we need, but of course there are some items and renovations we have to do…. It is a good feeling though that this will be our home for a long, long time. I want to fill our home with things from family and friends, flea markets and well… Jonathan Adler. The fact that we have room for a 7ft dining room table is enough to make me cry.
Until we close… the ideas will keep flowing.

In honor of having brunch today at 2nd Ave Deli with of my besties parents… Today’s color and inspire is peacock. We have an idea for the back office that is going to incorporate these colors….so I have been scouring the web and glossies for some ideas.
It’s a couple friendly palate (if you do it right), which is key for cohabitation!
